Accounting Manager

As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the monthly close process, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable while driving operational efficiencies and strengthening internal controls. You'll work closely with operational departments to develop and enhance accounting processes that support a successful multi-location organization.

Responsibilities

• \n
• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process for operational and multiple ancillary entities 
• \n
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports 
• \n
• Manage general accounting functions including GL, AR, AP, and account reconciliations 
• \n
• Prepare and post monthly and ad-hoc journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments 
• \n
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls 
• \n
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy 
• \n
• Coordinate annual audits and ensure audit readiness 
• \n
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining day-to-day accounting operations 
• \n
• Partner with leadership to support strategic initiatives and business growth 
• \n
• Support special accounting and finance projects assigned 
• \n

Qualifications

• \n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 
• \n
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience 
• \n
• Private Company/Industry a plus 
• \n
• Experience leading the monthly close process 
• \n
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls 
• \n
• Solid systems aptitude, with experience implementing, optimizing, or supporting financial and operational systems, is desirable 
• \n
