MissionHires is partnering with a well‑established, rapidly growing corporation in Memphis to hire an Accounting Manager with strong SAP ECC experience. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role leads financial reporting, AP/AR, compliance, budgeting, cash flow, and team leadership. Compensation up to $140,000 base plus 10% bonus.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, analyze, and present financial statements, reports, and budgetsOversee day-to-day financial operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and planningManage Accounts Payable: review accuracy, process monthly close, approve weekly expense reports, forecast purchasing/inventory, maintain vendor files, manage credit holds, and resolve vendor disputesManage Accounts Receivable: partner with Sales and Customer Accounts to project monthly cash flow, enter invoices, create statements, process deposits, manage collections, review accuracy, process monthly close, provide credit references, and maintain customer files and reseller permitsEnsure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, tax regulations, and support internal/external auditsDevelop, manage, and track budgets; provide financial guidance to leadershipMonitor and optimize cash flow and liquidity to support operationsLead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering collaborationIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyConduct financial analysis, including cost analysis, forecasting, and trend analysis to support decision-makingRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred)8+ years of progressive accounting experience3–5+ years in an accounting management/leadership roleHands‑on SAP ECC experience in core accounting processes (AP/AR, GL, month‑end close)Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, tax laws, and regulatory complianceProven experience with monthly accounting period close for AP & ARDemonstrated ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flowExperience supporting audits (internal and external)Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills with cross‑functional partnersProficiency with accounting software and financial analysis tools#J-18808-Ljbffr
