Description

• As the Accounting Manager you will oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Develop and monitor COGS, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with policies.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering professional development.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls.
• This role is onsite based in Scottsdale, AZ.

Profile

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

• A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or construction.
• Strong understanding of project based accounting, inventory, and COGS.
• Proficiency in larger complex accounting software systems such as MS Dynamics, Oracle, or SAP plus advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Preference for someone who has been involved in and ERP system implementation.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• A solid understanding of compliance and financial regulations.
