$150,000 - $180,000 + Equity | NYC - Hybrid/RemoteOne of NYC's fastest-growing AI-native PropTech firms, having recently closed its Series B funding round, is searching for an Accounting Manager to partner closely with and report directly to the VP of Finance.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting leader looking to make a significant impact in a high-growth business. You'll take ownership of the accounting function, strengthen existing processes and controls, and help build the finance infrastructure needed to support the company's next phase of scale.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the month‑end and year‑end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reportingOversee all day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, billing, payroll and general ledger activitiesPrepare and review monthly financial statements, reconciliations and supporting schedulesDevelop, implement and enhance accounting policies, internal controls and scalable financial processesPartner with the VP of Finance on budgeting, cash flow reporting and financial planning initiativesManage external auditors, tax advisors and other finance service providersEnsure compliance with US GAAP and support technical accounting matters as the business continues to growDrive finance systems enhancements and automation projects to improve efficiency and reportingPartner cross‑functionally with Operations, Sales and Customer Success to improve financial visibility across the businessHelp develop the accounting function by establishing best practices and supporting future team growthProfileCPA qualification strongly preferred5+ years of accounting experience, including experience within a high‑growth, VC‑backed SaaS or software businessPrevious experience as an Accounting Manager or a Senior Accountant ready to step into a management roleStrong knowledge of US GAAP and hands‑on ownership of the month‑end close processExperience building and improving accounting processes within a fast‑paced, scaling businessExperience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is highly desirableStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detailConfident communicator with the ability to partner effectively across multiple business functionsProactive, hands‑on and comfortable operating in a high‑growth environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
