Accounting Manager
Remote - Must reside within (TX, AZ, IN, KY, NC, GA, FL, SC, TN)
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
Pay rate: $45/hr. - $50/hr.
Full-time, standard business hours (EST preferred)
W2
9-months temporary assignment with possibility of extension
ROLE IMPACT
This role serves as the main accounting contact for several high-value royalty and profit-sharing agreements with other pharmaceutical partners. You will ensure shared revenues and expenses are calculated correctly, recorded accurately, and settled on time. Success in this role means maintaining strong partner relationships, resolving agreement questions quickly, and improving collaboration accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary accounting contact for major royalty and profit/cost-sharing agreements
Review contracts and work with Legal to interpret terms and resolve disputes
Analyze shared revenue and cost data; identify and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger (SAP/JDE)
Prepare invoices, settlements, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and audit schedules
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of accounting/finance experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
CPA or MBA preferred
Strong analytical skills with experience improving or streamlining accounting processes
