We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position in the Manufacturing industry, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and success. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, implementing and maintaining financial controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP, coupled with a proven track record as an Accounting Manager or similar title.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, and prepare financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations.
  • Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and manage month-end and year-end close process.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Act as a key contact for external auditors; manage preparation and support of all external audits.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain financial and accounting systems, ensuring all procedures are up to date.
  • Collaborate with financial management and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master’s degree or CPA would be considered an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in accounting software, with advanced knowledge of SAP.
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar level
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to direct and supervise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
