    Description

    The Accounting Manager is responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization. Our Accounting team prepares the organization's financial statements, analyzes, and reconciles accounts in comparison to prior periods and the budget to help business partners understand the findings and ensure accuracy.ResponsibilitiesManage a team of accountants to provide direction and oversight of the full cycle product accounting, including training, assigning, coaching, counseling, reviewing, disciplining, and provide career development.Prepare, examine, and/or analyze accounting records, source systems, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.Participate in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities and ensure adherence to all deadlines as established by leadership.Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to ensure complete and accurate recording of all revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity entries. Perform financial calculations such as amounts due, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity, and principal.Calculate, prepare/review, and analyze balance sheet accounts according to established procedures including bank and account reconciliations to appropriate supporting schedules.Prepare, review, and explain audit schedules.QualificationsBachelor's Degree, CPA PreferredMinimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with knowledge in corporate and revenue accounting; managing high volume full cycle accountingThorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and internal accountingData Analysis: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel required. Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and Oracle preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
