Accounting / Office Manager

$50k + DOE

Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM

Aventure Staffing is partnering with a well-established and highly stable manufacturing firm in the Cherokee area, seeking a dedicated Accounting & Office Manager to join their close-knit team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment, managing everything from full-cycle bookkeeping and financial reporting to general office operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage accounts payable, approve incoming bills, and perform regular account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Monitor daily bank balances, process deposits, and manage credit card processing workflows.
  • Monitor cash flow to maintain operational liquidity.
  • Asset Management: Coordinate and manage vehicle licensing, registrations and renewals for company fleet.
  • Generate and manage 401k reports and assist with basic financial reporting for leadership
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all office inquiries.
  • Oversee general office tasks

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred or equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Solid understanding of AP/AR processes and bank reconciliation procedures.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks preferred.
  • Exceptional time-management skills and ability to meet financial deadlines
  • Proven experience in office management or a dual accounting-administrative role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for managing vendor relationships and internal communications.

 Compensation & Benefits:

  • $50k + DOE
