Accounting / Office Manager
$50k + DOE
Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM
Aventure Staffing is partnering with a well-established and highly stable manufacturing firm in the Cherokee area, seeking a dedicated Accounting & Office Manager to join their close-knit team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment, managing everything from full-cycle bookkeeping and financial reporting to general office operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage accounts payable, approve incoming bills, and perform regular account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor daily bank balances, process deposits, and manage credit card processing workflows.
- Monitor cash flow to maintain operational liquidity.
- Asset Management: Coordinate and manage vehicle licensing, registrations and renewals for company fleet.
- Generate and manage 401k reports and assist with basic financial reporting for leadership
- Serve as primary point of contact for all office inquiries.
- Oversee general office tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred or equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Solid understanding of AP/AR processes and bank reconciliation procedures.
- High level of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks preferred.
- Exceptional time-management skills and ability to meet financial deadlines
- Proven experience in office management or a dual accounting-administrative role.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing vendor relationships and internal communications.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $50k + DOE
