The ideal candidate will contribute to core month‑end close activities while also helping improve accounting workflows through technology, data analysis, and AI‑driven solutions.We are seeking candidates based in the Chicagoland area, as this role involves occasional in‑person collaboration at our Chicago office.What You'll DoSupport month‑end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysesDevelop a strong understanding of transaction flows and ensure accounting treatment aligns with US GAAPFocus on key financial areas such as revenue and cost of revenue within gaming operationsIdentify, design, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the accounting functionLeverage tools such as Excel, Alteryx, and AI‑driven solutions to streamline workflowsAnalyze datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insightsPartner with cross‑functional teams to strengthen financial data, streamline reporting, and drive operational efficiencyCommunicate findings, recommendations, and process improvements clearly to stakeholdersWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required1+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in accounting or finance.
