Start by reviewing prior-day postings and preparing month-end close activities. Partner with Sales and Marketing to assess the return on their spend. Meet with your team to align on accounts payable and payroll priorities. Build trend analyses that compare actual performance to budget. Record monthly inventory adjustments and refine the reporting toolkit the department relies on. Throughout, you’ll mentor team members, conduct timely performance check-ins, and drive workflow improvements that elevate accuracy, speed, and safety.
