IS2 Workforce Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client for a detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Clerk to join their team in London, Ontario. This position is well-suited for someone with strong payroll and accounting support experience who is comfortable handling a variety of day-to-day financial tasks.
Location: London, ON
Pay: $55,000–$65,000/year
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, month-end, and year-end
- Perform day-to-day accounting support functions across multiple areas
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and issue ROEs and T4s
- Reconcile employee benefits, deductions, and payroll accounts
- Manage employee expense reimbursements
- Support accounts receivable, including collections follow-up
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and reporting
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees
- Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits by preparing supporting documentation and working papers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an accounting or payroll clerk role
- Working knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations and compliance
- Experience preparing ROEs and T4s
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
