Accounting & Payroll Manager

Tatum by Randstad is working with an eCommerce company that is in need of an interim Accounting & Payroll Manager. The company is on a hybrid schedule (4 days in the office and 1 day remote). The person taking on this interim project would be responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities:

\n

• \n
• Responsible for the following month end close duties: reviewing balance sheet and bank reconciliations; prepare monthly accruals; prepare monthly/quarterly inter-company reconciliations; and prepare non-recurring journal entries related to commissions and bonus accruals.
• \n
• Support a SOX compliant accounting department
• \n
• Prepare cashflow analysis.
• \n
• Responsible for preparing annual 1099's
• \n
• Serve as ADP Workforce Now subject matter expert related to payroll processing and payroll data integrity.
• \n
• Manage the bi-weekly processing of payroll to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• \n

Qulaifications:

\n

• \n
• Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required
• \n
• CPA or MBA is desired
• \n
• 5+ years of managing the month end close and payroll function in a SOX compliant environment is required
• \n
• 5+ years of payroll or payroll accounting is required
• \n
• Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now is required and experience in either NetSuite, Oracle, or D365 is desired
• \n
• Excellent communication skills and ability to muti-task is required.
