This is more than a traditional payroll or accounting role. A growing organization is seeking an Accounting & Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll operations, support accounting, and play a key role in building a new function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and migration of a new HRIS/payroll system.
Oversee full-cycle payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Partner with internal and international teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll and accounting processes.
Identify opportunities to improve payroll and accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies.
Support additional accounting and finance initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
Strong full-cycle payroll experience.
Experience with payroll/HRIS implementation or system migration strongly preferred.
Solid accounting/GL experience, including month-end close and reconciliations.
Strong Excel skills.
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Adaptable and comfortable taking ownership of a newly created role.
International payroll experience preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.
Experience with M3, Celery, or similar systems is a plus.
