They are currently seeking a skilled Accounting Payroll Manager to oversee financial operations and play a vital role in driving organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payment cycles and accurate client billing.
- Prepare, send, and track client invoices; monitor incoming payments and collections.
- Reconcile company bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Process and record monthly company expenses and manage vendor payments.
- Maintain financial records using QuickBooks and support ongoing internal and external reporting needs.
- Administer and process semi-monthly payroll, including payroll reporting and commission calculations.
- Coordinate employee compensation matters in collaboration with HR and assist in maintaining payroll documentation.
- Manage retirement plan administration, including SIMPLE IRA contributions, reporting, and liaison with the company’s broker.
- Support company leadership with operational and financial initiatives by preparing reports, managing spreadsheets, and maintaining detailed documentation.
- Handle confidential financial information with discretion and uphold the highest standards of accuracy and integrity.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions.
- Proven expertise in QuickBooks; experience with Paycor is a plus.
- Strong understanding of retirement plan administration, particularly SIMPLE IRA programs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with both clients and company leadership.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when managing sensitive information.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, as part of a hybrid schedule.
