The Bookkeeper in our Accounting Services Department maintains records of financial transactions, reconciles accounts and posts transactions. This role may include financial analysis for our clients, sales tax filings and payroll accounting.Position Type: Full TimeLocation: San Antonio, and surrounding areas, travel is requiredQualifications:High school diploma/GED equivalent, some collegeExperience in QuickBooks OnlineExperience in a full charge bookkeeping role (2+ years minimum)Experience working in a public accounting firm, preferredStrong problem solving and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and integrating external systems with QuickBooks OnlineHighly organized and communicative, as others will rely on the accuracy of your information to make key decisionsEnjoys team environmentEnjoys problem solving and working with technology to streamline processesAbility to work offsite as needed with multiple clients, some travel required within the greater San Antonio areaMust have reliable transportationResponsibilities:Represent firm to clients both on the phone and face to faceFoundational bookkeeping to include: creating a chart of accounts and financial statements; post journal entries, accounts payable and receivable; reconcile bank, credit card, accounts payable and receivable statements; printing trial balance; 3rd party payroll; other value added reportingExecute engagements efficiently, with strong attention to detail, and focus on qualityDemonstrate a client focus and sense of urgency to address client needsReview clients' financials and help develop solutions for clientsCreate journal entries to clean up client booksAbility to work on multiple projects and client booksPost transactions to journals, ledgers and other recordsProcess payroll reporting in compliance with state and federal laws through quarterly and annual reportsAbility to convert books into a QuickBooks Online set of books and create new companies in QuickBooks OnlineDevelop systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and proceduresPrepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trendsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededOther duties as needed and assignedThis role will be off-site regularly for face-to-face client meetingsADKF is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.Please visit ourcareers page to see more job opportunities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
