As an Accounting Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting core accounting functions, including full-cycle accounts receivable, tax filings, and month-end close activities. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, organized processes, and smooth day-to-day financial operations.

What You'll Do
As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting general accounting processes, including month-end close tasks and journal entry preparation
  • Managing full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including customer system management, reporting, invoice creation, and A/R tracking through cash receipts
  • Engaging regularly with senior management regarding receivables and reporting
  • Processing and managing sales, use, and property tax filings and payments
  • Assisting in building and updating accounting process documentation across functions
  • Accounts Payable end-to-end responsibilities
  • Performing miscellaneous tasks such as cash tracking and weekly reporting
  • Supporting purchasing and purchase order processes


What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience
  • An accounting degree or equivalent hands-on experience in accounting
  • Proficiency with ERP systems; Epicor experience is a plus
  • Strong Excel skills, at a basic to intermediate level, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all organizational levels
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial data with integrity
