What You’ll Do as an Accounting Specialist:- Process accounts payable invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
- Monitor accounts receivable, apply cash, and assist with collections
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare financial reports and analysis
- Ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations, including filings and documentation
- Track and manage fixed assets, including reporting and physical inventory
- Support payroll processing and timecard administration
- Recommend and implement process improvements within accounting operations
What You Need to Bring to the Accounting Specialist Role:- Associate degree in accounting OR 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge of general ledger practices and GAAP principles
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software systems
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team environment
