Schedule: In Office | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and approvals
• Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer
• Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Reconcile vendor statements and monitor aging reports
• Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Generate and distribute customer invoices
• Post customer payments and reconcile accounts
• Monitor overdue balances and follow up on outstanding payments
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate aging reports and customer account records

General Accounting Support

• Assist with account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
• Support internal and external audits as needed
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations

What You Will Do

As a Accounting Specialist you will review invoices, verify purchase orders, process vendor payments, reconcile statements, maintain financial records, resolve invoice discrepancies, communicate with vendors and internal departments, prepare payment documentation, and help ensure timely, accurate accounts payable operations while following established accounting procedures.

A Accounting Specialist supports organizational success by maintaining accurate accounts payable records, processing financial transactions, and contributing to dependable financial operations. This position combines professionalism, analytical thinking, and attention to detail to support effective business management.
