Location: Minneapolis, MN 55402
Pat Rate: $24/hr

Hybrid –3 days a week in office. Mandatory, Tuesday, Wednesday, and 3rd day in office is contractor’s choice.
Location: MN-U.S. Bank Plaza Minneapolis 220 S 6th St Minneapolis Minnesota 55402

Hours: Working hours can be chosen by candidate after training, any 8-hour time frame between 6 am to 5 pm (Training likely earliest possible time).

Parking –Paid parking available. At least *** daily as nearby parking area. Bus Service available.
Interviews –1 Teams with camera interview

Job Description:

Mid-Range Accounting Analyst/Accounting Specialist 4 CFAA4

Review and work exception items in Infogix completing all tasks within performance guidelines.

Balance and reconcile assigned accounts meeting minimum department performance expectations. Resolving exception items by performing a complex research process. Workload involves more complex extra task assigned in rotation.

Research exceptions and makes appropriate corrections.

Act as a department escalation resource or subject matter expert.

Research exceptions starting with oldest or high dollar items. Recommends process improvements to management.

Maintains accounts and ledgers of varying degrees of complexity.

Processes the most complex transactions and entries.

Provides consistent training using department training tools for new employees

Possesses accounting knowledge

Possesses organizational skills and is detail oriented.

Works independently, under limited supervision.

Able to clearly communicate and escalates issues to all internal customers and management.

Takes initiative to be resourceful, ruling out all possibilities before consulting with a Team Lead.

Expected to use higher level of independent judgement in decision making

Skills are transferable to other areas of CORR.

Open to flexible assignments

Able to process the most complex transactions and financial entries.

Research exception items and discrepancies and makes appropriate corrections and/or adjustments to reduce financial risk and assure process quality.

Problem solves, escalates issues, and creates collaboration across groups effectively with both internal and external employees and business partners.

Provides distribution and monitoring of daily workload and provides work direction and/or vacation coverage to other accounting specialists.

Monitors production and quality and provides basic transactional feedback of production standards to other accounting specialists.

Takes initiative to identify risk and eliminate processing errors within the department that reduce financial loss and increase process quality.

Able to provide basic quantitative input to manager on team’s performance.

Skills/requirements

1 year experience with matching and researching exception items within a reconciliation system.

Infogix preferred.

Experience with running macros and pivot tables in excel
