Accounting Specialist Responsibilities

• 
  
• The Accounting Specialist will process accounts payable invoices and assist with accounts receivable activities.
• 
  
• Maintain accurate job cost records and support project accounting functions.
• 
  
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities.
• 
  
• The Accounting Specialist will review vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.
• 
  
• Assist with subcontractor documentation, lien waivers, and compliance tracking.
• 
  
• The Accounting Specialist will maintain organized financial records and provide administrative support to the accounting team.

• Collaborate with project managers and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Specialist Role

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry.

• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and job costing.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and construction accounting processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
