Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
24 years of professional accounting experience, preferably with exposure to tax and regulatory filings.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger management.
Experience with journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and AP processing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar.
Familiarity with sales tax, personal property tax, and annual report filing processes.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external coordination.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times (e.g., files, laptop, office equipment).
Ability to use hands and fingers for keyboarding, writing, and calculator use.
May occasionally need to stand, bend, or reach during filing or light office organization.
Visual acuity required for viewing computer screens and reviewing detailed financial documents.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
