What You'll Do
This role sits at the intersection of accounting, operations, and project execution. Responsibilities include:
Review and process invoices tied to construction jobs, materials, and vendor services
Ensure proper allocation of costs by coding expenses to the correct projects and accounts
Analyze invoices against bids, contracts, and purchase details to confirm accuracy
Identify inconsistencies (pricing, quantities, or scope) and work cross-functionally to resolve them
Manage and input job-related documentation, including material tickets and vendor records, within the ERP system (Vista)
Partner with purchasing and operations teams to validate data and keep projects financially aligned
Maintain organized, audit-ready records and ensure transactions are accurately captured
Assist with ad hoc accounting or operational tasks as business needs evolve
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who is detail-driven but also comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment:
Exposure to Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting processes (internship or professional experience)
Experience in construction or project-based environments is helpful, but not required
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to getting things right the first time
Natural problem-solver who enjoys investigating discrepancies and finding solutions
Comfortable using Excel for basic data tracking and reconciliation
Ability to learn new systems and workflows quickly (Vista experience is a plus)
Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
