Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Supervisor:

• Lead and support the accounting team while remaining actively involved in daily accounting functions
• Manage customer billing activities, including invoice accuracy, credits, adjustments, and discrepancy resolution
• Oversee cash application, payment posting, account reconciliations, banking activity, and customer payment setup
• Review vendor payment recommendations and ensure appropriate controls are maintained throughout the payment process
• Support general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close, and preparation of financial reporting
• Partner with operations and customer service teams to research transactions, resolve accounting issues, and streamline processes

Qualifications for the Accounting Supervisor:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management
• Previous experience leading or mentoring accounting staff and supporting the month-end close process
