Client Accounting Supervisor Canton, OH | Full-Time | Hybrid

About the Role We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team. This position works directly with multiple clients, providing recurring monthly bookkeeping, financial reporting, and advisory services. The right candidate enjoys variety, client interaction, and digging into financials to provide meaningful insights.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Canton, Ohio office, with flexibility built into the schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support client engagements to deliver timely, accurate monthly financials Review and/or prepare:

General ledger activity and trial balances Journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Monthly management reporting packages

Ensure accuracy and completeness of bookkeeping and client data Proactively analyze financial information and provide insights to clients Assist clients with budgeting and financial planning Maintain organized and well-documented workpapers Interpret financial and non-financial data to recommend proactive solutions Train, mentor, and support associates and senior associates Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, technology usage, and client processes Manage multiple client budgets at once Identify potential business development opportunities through client relationships

Qualifications Required:

Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (Desktop experience a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a client-facing environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred (depending on level):

5+ years of accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience Bachelors degree in Accounting Experience in public accounting or client advisory services Prior experience reviewing work or leading small teams QuickBooks Online and/or Payroll certification
