What you will be doing?
Assists with the supervision and coordination of the accounting operations in the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
The Accounting Supervisor supports the accuracy and integrity of financial operations by managing general accounting activities, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards. This role plays a key part in the month-end close process, audit support, and financial analysis.
Qualifications
Review financial information and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Manage daily accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, billing, payment and account maintenance.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
Monitor revenues, expenses, and financial transactions to ensure accurate reporting and proper coding.
Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and supporting schedules.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and other accounting functions.
Assist with internal and external audits and provide requested financial information.
Review financial data and provide information and support to management for decision-making.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency.
Provide guidance and support to accounting staff and oversee daily activities as needed.
Ensure financial reports and deadlines are completed accurately and on time.
Support general administrative and departmental activities as required.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
