Accounting Supervisor
I'm currently working on a search for a client that is looking to fill an Accounting Supervisor position in Woodward Oklahoma. Our client is one of the largest global producers of products in their niche. They are a multi-billion-dollar organization that services a vast network of industries with 10k+ products!
Job Description
Accounting Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Maintain and analyze standard costs, labor costs, overhead allocations, and variances.
- Perform detailed variance analysis related to production, labor, materials, and inventory.
- Support annual standard cost updates and inventory valuation processes.
- Partner with operations and plant management to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Analyze operating results and prepare management reports highlighting key trends and variances.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience in Finance
- Manufacturing Experience
- Public Company Experience
- CPA preferred
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience interacting with senior leadership
