Position classification
Hybrid -- Job duties and expectations allow for onsite and remote work scheduled every week. Employees in this classification are regularly scheduled onsite one (1) to four (4) days per week based on the County needs and as determined by Department Director. Hybrid classified roles can be onsite more than the set minimum based on employee preference.
What Success Looks Like In This Job
Exercises direct supervision of Human Services Business Operations staff. which includes Performs professional accounting work dealing with multiple accounting systems and transactions. Troubleshoots and improvises to accommodate unique and difficult accounting transactions. Provides accounting services to the Agency in order to maintain the fiscal records in accordance with County, State, and Federal requirements and ensures the maximum reimbursement of expenditures from outside agencies.

This role requires a minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in financial accounting and administration. Do you meet this requirement?

A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a closely related field from an accredited college or university required. Do you meet this requirement?

Possession of a Certified Public Accountant license (CPA) and/or other related certification is highly desirable. Do you meet this preference?
