WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK WITH WATERMARK HEALTH?
  • We are a family on mission together: We are unified behind the mission of Watermark Health. As a part of this family on mission you can expect to be cared for beyond the role you're in and you'll do the same for others. The important people in your life will be more involved here than they would at a normal job. You're a full contributor to the mission of WMH no matter your role or tenure
  • We are committed to humble service: We follow a God who chose service over power. We aim to lay our lives down as well. We focus our attention on seeing and serving the person in front of us. We look for opportunities to learn from others and serve those the Lord puts in our paths - whether they are a patient, vendor, someone on the phone, a volunteer, a co-worker. We want to be known for our service.
  • We live like this world is not our home: We know life is temporary and we are confident our King is coming back for us. Because of this, we are willing to sacrifice comfort, ease, and stability if it means we are building His kingdom on earth. The brokenness of this world doesn't hold us back, it is a reminder of the mission we're on together.
  • We choose to discipline ourselves to finish the race: We know we have limitations, so we pace ourselves to have margin to say 'yes' to opportunities Jesus puts in front of us. We lead ourselves in order to stay healthy spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and socially. We take sabbath rest seriously and enjoy the freedom and dependence on Christ that grows out of a disciplined life.
  • We count it all joy: We believe laughter, play, and fun are keys to being able to do what we do. We find ways to infuse laughter into the mission and bring our own unique personalities to the table to cultivate joy. We celebrate small things in big ways. Playing and laughing and having fun together reminds us not to take ourselves so seriously- even when the work is hard.

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
Because the local church is at the core of our mission, it's crucial for our staff team to model the value of church membership in the same ways we would call our volunteers to membership and invite our patients into membership. As this is such a high value, we show that we care by having consistent check-ins with our staff team's spiritual health and require employees to be active members at a local church. The specific church membership requirement is shown above on this job description. Keep in mind that the requirement varies from role to role and some positions may require membership at a specific local church based on the duties of that role. Reach out to the hiring manager or HR team if you have additional questions on church membership during the recruiting process.
