The Accounting Technician-Accounts Payable administers and coordinates the College's accounts payable processes to ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. The position performs intermediate-level accounting and administrative functions requiring analytical skills, sound judgment, and a thorough understanding of accounting procedures.
The Accounting Technician maintains financial records, prepares reports, supports audit and compliance activities, and provides excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders while ensuring adherence to College policies and applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school graduation or equivalent and three years of accounting/bookkeeping experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in accounting is preferred.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed. Summer hours may vary. The position may be eligible for the flexible work arrangement after the 120-day probationary period is successfully met.

Salary N-8 $19.34 - $24.18/hr
