Accounting Technician II

Our direct client is seeking an Accounting Technician II to support their Accounts Payable team in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role is responsible for processing high-volume vendor invoices, resolving invoice discrepancies, and supporting internal and external payment inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process vendor invoices and support Accounts Payable operations
  • Review invoice aging reports and resolve payment issues
  • Perform invoice quality checks and data entry in Oracle
  • Scan, sort, and manage incoming invoices
  • Respond to vendor and internal inquiries
  • Support tax, utility, lease, and contract payment processing
  • Maintain accuracy while meeting payment deadlines
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience processing vendor invoices in Oracle
  • Strong understanding of three-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice)
  • Experience in high-volume Accounts Payable environments
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High school diploma or GED and four years of increasingly responsible, relevant experience; completion of two years full time accredited college work in accounting or related business field may be substituted for one year of related experience.
  • Experience with enterprise accounting systems and Excel
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and able to work under pressure
