Description
The Springfield- Greene County Parks department is looking for a Accounting Technician to assist in the financial services of the Parks department and specifically the SPARC program. This roll will play a heavy hand in the accounts receivable and payables, tracking and reporting of grants, and administration of the Parks Youth Scholarship fund activity. This position will assist in the preparation of key budget data and spreadsheet for the school park section, as well as other areas of the Parks department. The Accounting Technician coordinates and maintains various types of accounting information required for the Citys financial reporting system as well as department specific systems and prepares various summaries, for both internal and external use, from this information.
