Department: Utility Services Department Organizational Unit: County Water and Wastewater

Position Type: Permanent Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Open Until Filled.

$19.52 to $21.47 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. North Area/Merritt Island/Sykes Creek WWTP. Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Performs experienced technical work in analyzing, maintaining, and processing financial data and accounts for a section of Utility Services, directing the work of assigned staff.

REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) years [60 semester or 90 quarter hours] of college-level credit with major coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field PLUS one (1) year of experience performing accounting or bookkeeping tasks. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience working with SAP is preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
