Accounting & Treasury Data Analyst

Overview:

As our Accounting & Treasury Data Analyst, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day.

The Accounting and Treasury Data Analyst bridges the gap between raw financial data and accounting and treasury operations. Your work optimizes the daily treasury function and the month-end accounting close by establishing clear data pipelines and building repeatable processes. You’ll work with members of the accounting/treasury team to improve processes and enhance reporting. You’ll also work closely with the daily cash transfer process to both validate and initiate transfers. This will require working with subject-matter experts to understand the timing and rationale for cash movements.

Responsibilities:

As our Accounting & Treasury Data Analyst, you will:

• Build and streamline repeatable workflows for the month-end accounting close.
• Design and implement data quality controls to ensure high integrity across daily treasury functions.
• Partner with accounting and other teams to automate manual data entry, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
• Document new financial data processes, workflows, and system integration methods.
• Extract, clean, and analyze high volumes of transaction data from multiple platforms.
• Support cash and sub-ledger reconciliations to accelerate close timeliness.
• Manage treasury data feeds.
• Create custom dashboards.
• Assist in preparing various reports.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, data analytics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of combined experience in financial data analysis, accounting operations, or corporate treasury.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in working with large data sets.
• Experience with data visualization.
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, such as the ability to explain technical data concepts to non-technical staff

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Databricks, NetSuite, and financial planning software.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cash workflows.
