Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to support invoice processing and coding functions during an upcoming system transition. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact implementation project, with potential for extension based on performance.
Location: San Antonio TX
Schedule: Monday-Thursday in office, Friday WFH.
Length: 6 Month Contract
Pay Rate: $31.04
Key Responsibilities
Perform accounts payable data entry, including general ledger coding for both PO and non-PO invoices
Process monthly invoice volumes ranging from approximately 7 to 1,000 invoices
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, research issues, and ensure timely reconciliation
Prepare reports and accounting schedules to support financial operations
Maintain accuracy and compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 2 years of accounting or business-related experience
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and analytical capability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
