Job Title: Accounts Payable AccountantLocation: West Los Angeles, CACompensation: $60,000 ??? $80,000 (Direct Hire)Position OverviewA well-established and growing real estate organization in West Los Angeles is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to support high-volume AP operations. This role will manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor coordination, payment administration, and reconciliation activities.The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong accuracy and communication.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the AP inbox, including reviewing invoices, statements, and vendor inquiriesAudit and process high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy, coding, and complianceEnter invoices into the system and route for approval workflow processingInvestigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, including past-due balancesProcess recurring payments, including monthly payables and mortgage-related expensesHandle employee reimbursements and intercompany transactionsCoordinate vendor onboarding, including EFT setup and compliance documentationMonitor vendor accounts and ensure insurance and compliance requirements are metSupport annual 1099 preparation and reportingPrepare and review aging reports and other AP-related reporting metricsMaintain accurate records and filing systems for all AP documentationAssist with construction-related payables , including contracts, change orders, and pay application reconciliationQualificationsBachelor???s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred4???5+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally in a high-volume environmentExperience supporting full AP cycle from invoice receipt through paymentExposure to property management or real estate accounting preferredStrong attention to detail, organization, and follow-throughAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesTechnical SkillsExperience with Yardi (Voyager/Elevate) or similar ERP systems highly preferredFamiliarity with AP automation tools such as PredictAP is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office SuiteCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and vendor relationship managementHigh level of accountability and initiativeAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environmentWork Environment & BenefitsOn-site role in Los Angeles (westside)Collaborative, team-oriented office environmentCompetitive benefits packagePay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per yearEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledMilitary connected talent encouraged to applyMassachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
