We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk I to support daily accounting operations. This position will assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, payments, collections, account reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports for payment.
Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy.
Prepare and distribute invoices to customers and clients.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and past-due accounts.
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable balances.
Maintain accurate vendor and customer records and files.
Prepare and process electronic payments and checks.
Assist with month-end closing activities related to AP and AR.
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding invoices and payments.
Maintain accurate financial documentation and support general accounting activities.

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related accounting role.
Some college coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial transactions.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
