Friendly Powersports / Used Bikes Direct Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized AP/AR Specialist to join our team in Grand Prairie. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, supporting dealership operations, and ensuring timely communication with vendors, lenders, and internal departments.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
- Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
- Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized AP files and records
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions and payment status
Accounts Receivable
- Post customer and lender payments accurately
- Monitor and maintain AR aging reports
- Follow up on outstanding balances and receivables
- Assist with flooring, funding, and lender payoff processing
- Process deposits and maintain accurate payment records
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
Additional Duties
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Support dealership management with reporting and administrative tasks
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information
- Work closely with sales, service, parts, and management teams
Qualifications
- Previous AP/AR or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Lightspeed DMS experience preferred
- Dealership or powersports experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with dealership management systems is preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
