CBIZ Talent Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join an exciting organization in Queens, NY. This in-office role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong AP/AR experience and expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and expense reports
- Prepare ACH, wire, and check payment runs
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and issue customer invoices
- Post and apply payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Monitor aging reports and support collections efforts
- Maintain vendor and customer records
- Assist with AP and AR subledger-to-GL reconciliations
- Support month-end close and audit preparation
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for daily accounting functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000 - $72,000
