Accounts Payable Analyst

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, industrial services company in Southeast Houston that’s making big moves and growing exponentially.
They’re reorganizing their accounting department and creating a brand-new Accounts Payable Specialist role to support that growth.

This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys Accounts Payable.

What You’ll Do:

• 
  
• Process 2000 invoices per month in a paperless electronic environment
• 
  
• Research and trouble shoot discrepancies
• 
  
• Partner with internal departments to process check request
• 
  
• Correspond with vendors regarding payment terms and payment dates
• 
  
• Pair PO or back up to invoices within ERP system
• 
  
• Support ad hoc Accounts Payable projects
• 
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 
  
• 2+ years of solid Accounts Payable experience in an electronic environment
• 
  
• A self-starter mindset and someone who is assertive but flexible
• 
  
• Strong business acumen with great communication skills - verbal and written
• 
  
• Bonus points for systems experience with Spectrum and intermediate MS Excel
•
