USPI Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Las Vegas, NV.We offer our physicians lightning fast turn over times and our patient’s unique personalized service. this is a high volume, fast paced, multi-specialty surgery center! Our mission is to provide first class surgical services to the local community in a safe, comfortable, welcoming environment one in which we would be happy to treat our own families. We have 5 operating rooms offering a full range of surgical procedures including: Bariatrics, Colorectal, General Surgery/Robotics, GI, OB/Gynecology, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Spinal.

What You Will Do (Job Summary):

The Accounts Payable Coordinator provides support to the Business Office and is responsible for data entry of accounts payable, reconciliation of vendor statements, coding and matching invoices to packing slips, running month end close and reports, running the weekly preliminary check runs to determine cash requirements, finalizing vendor check run, maintaining vendor files, maintaining monthly financial reports and year-end 1099 preparation.

TheCredentialing Coordinator processes and analyzes the applications and appointment/reappointment of medical staff and allied health professionals. They ensure credentials meet regulatory agency requirements and adhere to Medical Staff Bylaws/Facility policy. They enter practitioner data quickly and accurately.

Work hours are Monday - Friday, daytime office hours.

Qualifications

  • High-School Diploma or GED
  • Accounts Payable experience in medical environment
  • Medical Credentialing experience needed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret, analyze documents
  • Experience in use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Positive attitude, reliable/dependable
  • Strong organization skills / attention to detail
  • Fast, accurate data entry and typing skills
  • Independent work and decision making
  • Maintains confidentiality
