Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Bakersfield, CA (Onsite)

This is more than a traditional accounts payable role. You'll work closely with project managers, vendors, and the accounting team to ensure timely payments, accurate reporting, and smooth day-to-day financial operations.
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll take ownership of the accounts payable process while supporting project accounting and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Process high-volume vendor invoices and prepare timely payments
Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
Support month-end close by preparing AP reconciliations and reports
Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with 1099 preparation
2+ years of accounts payable experience
Experience with purchase orders and invoice matching
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software or ERP systems
Construction or project-based accounting experience is preferred
