Growing company in Buford, GA that specializes in High End kitchen appliances sold B2B is seeking an A/P Specialist to do 3 way invoice matching. Pay $21 Hours Mon- Fri 8am to 5pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will oversee the processing of vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate financial records. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to financial integrity and compliance with industry standards such as GAAP and SOX. Responsibilities

• Process and verify a high volume of vendor invoices using accounting software
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts regularly through detailed analysis and double-entry bookkeeping techniques.
• Manage invoice approvals, coding, and data entry with precision using Excel
• Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accounting to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Support accounts payable automation initiatives by leveraging financial software such as Ceridian or HRIS systems to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong background in accounts payable processing, bookkeeping, or related fields.
• Familiarity with accounting concepts including debits & credits, general ledger reconciliation, and journal entries.
• Hands-on experience with financial software such as Workday, Paychex, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms is highly preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high accuracy in data entry and account reconciliation tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills complemented by attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
