Accounts Payable Clerk
Full-Time | Onsite | Monday-Friday
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting/Finance team. This position plays a key role in supporting the company's financial operations by ensuring invoices, payments, and vendor accounts are processed accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Do
- Process high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way match)
- Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment issues and status updates
- Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and compliance documentation
- Assist with month-end close activities and reporting
- Support audits and maintain organized financial records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
What We're Looking For
- 13 years of accounts payable or accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Professional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion
- Transportation or logistics industry experience is a plus
Education & Experience
- High school diploma required
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Work Environment
- Full-time onsite position
- MondayFriday business hours
- Fast-paced office environment with high transaction volume
- Occasional additional hours during month-end or audit periods
