Accounts Payable Clerk

Voss Auto Network is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Network Office team! This position plays an important role in keeping our accounting operations running smoothly by ensuring invoices are processed accurately, payments are made timely, and vendor records remain organized and up to date.The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with numbers, has excellent organizational skills, and takes pride in accuracy. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment and enjoy being part of a team, we'd love to hear from you! The Voss Auto Network offers: Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance2 Weeks vacation after 1 yearHoliday Pay and Sick payEmployee Discount on parts and servicesAs well as third party DiscountsAnnual Company Gathering Some of your duties as an accounts payable clerk are:Daily you will prepare accounts payable checks, post all open items in accounts payable, print all accounts payable reports and maintain the accounts payable files.You will check all vouchers and obtain appropriate payment approval.Twice per month you will post, stamp and file invoicesYou will reconcile statements and the ledger making sure payments are consistent with dealership schedules.Will be in the rotation to cover for the receptionist.Will assist with monthly closings, prepare analysis and assist with special projects as needed.Will audit freight bills, analyze vendor accounts and communicate cash requirements for payable dates to the manager when needed.You will need have strong computer skills, ability to work with the team and to be able to complete your work in a accurate and timely manner. What We're Looking ForPrevious accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferredReconcile daily cash, check, and electronic deposits each day for all assigned dealership locations, identifying and resolving any variances daily.Strong attention to detail and accuracyComfortable working with numbers and financial informationExcellent organizational and time-management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while also being a team playerProfessional and dependable work ethicAutomotive or dealership accounting experience is a plus, but not requiredMust be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen Apply online or at our Network office today!332 Congress Park DriveCenterville OH 45459
