Sparks Group has partnered with a well-established specialty construction contractor to identify a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing team. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone with strong data entry and organizational skills who is looking to build a long-term career. Responsibilities

  • Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Enter invoice and payment information into the accounting system.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and company credit card accounts.
  • Prepare and process weekly accounts payable check runs.
  • Maintain organized accounts payable files and payment records.
  • File processed invoices and paid checks.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and request outstanding invoices as needed.
  • Provide administrative support related to accounts payable functions.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of office or administrative experience preferred.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Pay Range: Hourly $18.00 to $20.00
