Candidates who receive an offer will be required to complete a background check and drug test as a condition of employment.Accounts Payable ClerkMiramar, FL (onsite)4+ Months ContractDescription:Audits vendor payments by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances; analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies; insuring credit receipt; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments; reimbursing employee expenses.Primary ResponsibilitiesAudit company payments to suppliers and reimbursement paymentsWork with Accounts Payable leadership to create processes to increase accuracyResearch and respond to email inquiriesAnalyze generated reports for quality and productivity within the DepartmentMaintain a thorough understanding of accounting business practices, terms, and conceptsVoided Check, return check process, stop payments, audit confirmation, email inquires and other job-related duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsAssociate of Arts degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred.3 years of experience in Finance or AccountingExperience with SAPStrong communication skills written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationshipsKnowledge of MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functionExcellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem managementMetasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
