Accounts payable clerk (On-site)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Process and maintain accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and recorded
• Reconcile company bank statements and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status for reporting purposes
• Assist with maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Support annual audit preparation activities and provide requested documentation
• Work closely with internal departments regarding invoice processing and payment inquiries
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, including GAAP
• Experience with accounting software and financial systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze financial information and identify discrepancies
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience
