Now hiring Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Ruston, LA
Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements:
- High school diploma or college degree required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and reconciliation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Accounts payable or accounting experience preferred
- Oracle experience is a plus
- Ability to analyze invoices and identify discrepancies or tax-related issues
Job Duties:
- Process vendor invoices in accordance with company procedures
- Generate and distribute vendor payments accurately and on time
- Review vendor statements and investigate past-due invoices
- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and disputes
- Scan and maintain invoices within the company imaging system
- Assist with month-end close activities and accounts payable reconciliations
- Collaborate with accounting personnel to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Review invoices for potential sales and use tax liabilities
- Maintain organized records and support audit requests as needed
