West Monroe, LA
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We're seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in West Monroe who enjoys tracking payments, logging transactions, and helping the team stay on top of deadlines. Organized? Detail-obsessed? You're exactly who we want.
Requirements for a Great Fit
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience (service industry preferred)
- Hands-on experience with ERP software or Foundation required
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field (preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Prior related experience in construction or a similar field
What You'll Be Handling
- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices
- Code invoices to correct general ledger accounts
- Enter invoices into Sage or QuickBooks accounting system
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized vendor files and documentation
- Assist with month-end closing processes
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
