Accounts Payable Coordinator

A growing food manufacturing company in Denver is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team. This role will focus on high-volume invoice processing, vendor management, and ensuring accurate and timely payments in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform 3-way matching (invoice, PO, receiving)
• Manage vendor relationships, including resolving discrepancies and responding to inquiries
• Prepare and execute weekly check runs / ACH / wire payments
• Reconcile accounts payable subledger and assist with month-end close
• Maintain organized and accurate AP records and documentation
• Monitor and track expenses across inventory, raw materials, and operations-related costs
• Partner with purchasing and operations teams to ensure proper coding and approvals

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience (manufacturing or distribution strongly preferred)
• Experience with high-volume invoice processing
• Familiarity with ERP systems (any major ERP is fine)
• Understanding of 3-way matching and PO-based invoicing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Excel (basic formulas, data entry, tracking)
